Well I have moved again.....

I am on the brink of a great celebration.  Celebrating my 40th year as a Cosmetologist. In fact July 7th will be the actual date of graduation from Cosmetology School, in Renton Washington.

On to my Story....

For me it was a realization while I was going through some items of my Moms. I found her licence of graduation from Beauty School in June 1962.

I graduated July 1972. I didn't know that she was only in the business 10 years when I graduated.

She sold her Salon in Kent, Washington in 1982, but kept up her licenses until 1999 when she finally gave up her profession.

So I have actually outdone her in years.

I was a youngster, (9yrs) sitting on the beauty salon floor, styling my Barbie dolls hair, I'd often look up at her thinking....

"I will never be that old doing hair".

Never say Never.
